The Foundations

Foundations - 4 the thematic bible reading plan

Inspiration and main scripture for group:

John 6:63

“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are Spirit and they are life.”

Scripture Foundations for the vision::

Jeremiah 4:4

“Circumcise yourselves to the Lord, And remove the foreskins of your heart,

Men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, Or else My wrath will go forth like fire

And burn with none to quench it, Because of the evil of your deeds.”

Psalm 119:9-11

How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Your word.

With all my heart I have sought You; Do not let me wander from Your commandments.

Your word I have treasured in my heart, That I may not sin against You.

Revelation 1:5-6

and from Jesus Christ—the faithful witness, the firstborn from among the dead, the ruler over the kings of the earth. To the one who loves us and has set us free from our sins at the cost of his own blood and has appointed us as a kingdom, as priests serving his God and Father—to him be the glory and the power for ever and ever! Amen.

Psalm 1:2-3

Instead, his delight is in the Lord’s instruction, and he meditates on it day and night.

He is like a tree planted beside flowing streams that bears its fruit in its season,

and its leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.

Matthew 5:8

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

These are my 5 foundation scriptures for the - “1yr bible plan” group. This bible plan is meant to build up, encourage and stir up deeper hunger for righteousness,  holiness, godliness and the Word of God in a fun and disciplined way. It will require commitment but it is very doable. Remember, when reading the word of God, you are spending time with Jesus.

VISION Mission:
To create a deeper hunger for the word and righteousness. To make reading the word a fun desire so those who commit to investing in themselves in this form will begin to “delight themselves in the LORD” according to Psalm 37:4. To purify, bring a more intimate understanding of the gospel and encourage chosen ones to work out their salvation with the Fear of the LORD and trembling. Hunger causes fulfillment which brings even more hunger. This is renewing the mind. This is falling in love with Jesus. This is aligning oneself with heaven and the ways of God and with that, the Spirit of God.
